Brief Bio

Deon Zender Estrada is an up-and-coming Ocean and Aquatic artist. Born in Long Beach California, son of Los Angeles muralist John Zender was raised in the San Pedro area. From an early childhood he was fascinated with Fish and marine life, he spent hours at many local aquariums and one day while at his father’s studio began to develop his own style of aquatic paintings. Since then, he is the founder of King Kelp Art a small company that showcases most of his and other like-minded artist work. His work is currently available at Crafted at the port of LA in San Pedro and his work has been exhibited at Palmdale Playhouse Gallery, Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, and many other galleries. He loves to travel and snorkel the many beaches throughout the United States. It’s his love and passion for the ocean that keeps his creativity flowing and his paint brush moving.
